I added it hoping for a better setup, but it just made the gun feel front heavy and threw off my swing balance. So yeah, fantastic if your goal is to make every move feel a little more awkward.

Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying this: the storage runs out way quicker than I expected. I’ll be in the middle of trying to shoot something and suddenly have to stop and delete clips just to keep going. For the price, I thought there’d be more space or at least a better way to manage it. Frustrating and definitely something I wish I knew beforehand.

I was disappointed with the return policy. The return window felt way too short, and the warranty didn’t really seem helpful when I actually needed it, if that makes sense.

I bought this thinking I’d have it set up quickly, but it turned into a whole hassle. The instructions didn’t really match what I was seeing on my end, and the app kept giving me problems. It took way too long just to get it connected, or, well, to think I had it connected, because I still wasn’t totally sure it was working right after that. For the price, I really expected the setup to be a lot simpler...

Setup was mostly easy, totally fine, no big deal at all... except I did spend a bit longer than expected trying to find a few settings. Once I figured out where everything was, it worked fine. Just takes a little getting used to.

I had an issue with my ShotKam dealing with support was almost more annoying than the problem itself. They took forever to get back to me, and when they finally did, it felt like they barely read what I’d actually written. I kept having to repeat myself, which gets old fast. Not the end of the world, but definitely a frustrating experience.

To be fair, it fits my 12 gauge just fine, so it does what it’s supposed to there. It just didn’t work with my older pump, which was a bit disappointing. I’d double-check compatibility if you’re planning to use it on an older model.

I picked up the shotkam mostly because I wanted to see how well it would handle recoil on my 12 gauge. For the most part, it stayed put and didn’t give me any major problems, so that was good. But during longer sessions, I found myself having to stop and check it, then make little adjustments here and there. When you’re trying to get through some shooting and feel a bit rushed, that gets annoying fast. It does seem tough overall, but for the price, I expected it to feel a little more solid. It works, just not as flawlessly as I hoped, so I’d give it 3 stars.

I really wanted this to work, but the auto recording just misses things too often. Like, too often. It got to the point where I felt like the camera was kind of pointless because it wasn’t capturing the moments I actually needed.

The ShotKam works fine overall, but the charging time is frustrating... it feels like every time I want to use it, I’m stuck waiting for it to be ready. For what it costs, I expected it to be quicker

It ended up being too expensive for me. I had to spend way too much time comparing options and trying to justify the price, and it just felt like more effort than it was worth.

Yeah... this mount just kept slipping on me, and I didn’t feel comfortable trusting it on my gun. I tried to get it secured, but... it didn’t really give me much confidence

I feel kind of stupid for trusting this to be smooth. The slow motion stutters a lot, and after I shoot something, the playback takes forever to load. It’s been frustrating to use

I’ve only used this a handful of times and it already feels a bit loose. The plastic parts don’t seem very durable, which is disappointing for the price. I also expected the instructions to be a little clearer, especially for getting it set up and using it properly. Overall, I thought it would hold up a lot longer

I’m still waiting for my order to arrive and the tracking hasn’t really given me any useful updates

I bought this mostly because I thought it would be simple to connect to my phone, but i feel like I wasted my own time trusting that part. The Wi-Fi keeps dropping, and sometimes it doesn’t even show up for me to connect at all. I’ve spent way more time messing with the connection than actually using the thing. For the price, I really expected a smoother experience. Disappointed.

Overall, my ShotKam has been working fine, but the firmware update was a little hit or miss for me. It froze once right in the middle, and I ended up having to restart everything and try again. The instructions weren’t quite as clear as I expected, especially around the little steps, but I did get it working in the end. The support info helped a bit, just wished the whole update process had been smoother

I really wanted to like the ShotKam, I did!! It recorded my shots just fine, so that part wasn’t the issue... but the actual shot analysis felt off way too many times. The placement and timing didn’t always line up with what I was seeing, or with what my coach was pointing out, which got frustrating!!! For the price, I expected it to be a lot more accurate. Maybe it works great for other people?? But for me, it felt more like a rough guess than something I could really rely on.

I was hoping to have a bit more control over the reticle, but the customization options felt limited. I couldn’t really get it set up the way I like, which was sorta frustrating considering the price.

the app works fine for the most part, but it does feel a bit clunky here and there. connecting wasn’t too difficult, but finding the settings took me longer than I expected. overall it’s decent, i just wish the navigation felt a little smoother
